Bonjour tout le monde! I have a phone!!! So, i get free incoming calls, and its a lot cheaper for everyone to get a good phone card and call me. i also get free incoming texts. anyway, my phone number is +33 06 82 05 16 75. BUT, to dial out of the US it's a little different. you have to dial 01 13 36 82 05 16 75 and that's it. so, try to call me when you get a chance! if you get a voicemail that is not me, don't worry because i am renting a phone and i haven't changed the voicemail message yet, so it is still someone else on the recorder, but don't worry...it's my phone. =) if you text me, just let me know who it is, because i won't have your phone number.

Philly!!
Wow! I spet this morning in Philadelphia while I waited for my flight. It was SO fun!!! I got to see Independance Hall, the Liberty Bell, Rocky, the Betsy Ross House, and SO much more! I got to hail a taxi cab for the first time (woo hoo!) and it was great.
The best part MIGHT have been the huge Philly Cheesesteak that I had for
lunch...Yum! My shuttle for the airport is leaving in about 5 minutes. Paris, here I come! xoxoxoxox

Arizona Send Off
Salut tout le monde! I leave tomorrow morning for my flights to Paris! There has been some changes in my itinerary (which is completely normal for stand-by fliers). So...I am departing at 9:10 am for a direct flight to Philadelphia where I will stay the night and maybe get a chance to see the liberty bell until Saturday. On the 27th at 6:15 pm, I am leaving for an overnight flight to Paris. I will touchdown on French soil at 7:55 am on Sunday morning where I will be met by others from my Paris program. There will be a shuttle waiting to take all of us to our houses and then I'm there!!
My visit down here in Arizona has been great! We went to see the Besh-Ba-Gowah Indian ruins, the Casa Grande ruins, and the Arboretum (a park with trees from all around the world). It was a lot of fun! On our way back from Globe, AZ where the BBG ruins were we stopped at a little family owned Mexican restaurant
where I had the most amazing chicken burrito...YUM! It's pretty crazy how I'm eating burritos in Southern Arizona one day, then the next I'm flying off to Paris!! Thanks to Daddy, Patty and sweet Arianna for a great visit and some great homecooked bread and meals! It was also wonderful to see my Uncle Ricky, Aunt Alison, Cerys, Alex and Josh...wow, I can't believe how much all the kids have grown!!
Love to all! xoxoxoxo

I'm Off!

Bonjour tout le monde! I am onto my second leg of my journey: I first started by packing up my things and driving up to McMinnville on Wednesday to see Zac and Jolene & family before I left (AND to take care of last minute things at Pacific U). I also got to see my friends from Forest Grove! I am now starting my blog from sunny Phoenix, Arizona where I am stopping en route to Paris for a quick visit with my Dad, Patty, and Arianna. This Friday I am leaving for Charolette, NC for a layover, then to Philadelphia, PA for yet another layover, and then I am off to PARIS! I will arrive at 7:55 am this Sunday. And guess what?! I get to go in style! That's right: FIRST CLASS!!! Can you believe it?! I could get used to these flight benefits (thanks, daddy!)!
I must admit: Yesterday was hard. I was accompanied to the airport by Zac, Mom, Tim, Jolene, Aaron, Ryan, Tyler, and Anna. There were tears...lots of them. But a HUGE thank you to everyone there to send me off! I will MISS you!!!
What is quite humorous is that I am stopping for about 5 days where it is sunny and about 95 degrees, and going to a place where it is overcast and 56 degrees. Since I am living in Paris for 4 months, I packed for that... not for Arizona. I've had to get quite creative with my attire for the time being! =)
